#DontForgetBronxStudents
This morning South Bronx Rising Together, along with Bronx Borough President Rubén Díaz Jr., Bronx Impact, DreamYard, and The Bronx Community Foundation, joined students, parents, and advocates and called on the NYC Department of Education to provide equitable access to technology for our Bronx students. Students need reliable internet, an iPad or laptop of their own, and direct access to technology help in order to learn remotely. Without these components our students fall behind and we, as a community, can not afford that.
This is why we stand alongside our community and demand that the NYC Department of Education:
Provide appropriate devices to ALL students immediately
Hold internet service providers accountable
Improve communication to families around distribution of devices
Provide easy and fast access to tech help for families and students

City-wide back to school survey
K-12 stakeholders recently decided to keep the City-Wide Back to School survey open past the end of the month. We want to gain insight from 500 NYC parents and caregivers on issues that matter to them and we’re almost there!
Can you help us get out the word?
2020 election resources
Did you know that only 54% of registered voters in the Bronx voted in the 2016 Presidential election? We can and need to do better!
NYC Votes has made it easy to find your poll site, learn more about your rights as a voter, and access a nonpartisan voting guide. Access those resources here! Early voting in New York State began this past Saturday and Election Day is November 3. Make sure you have a plan to vote!
